Alex joined SOILCO as Chief Executive Officer in 2026, bringing more than a decade of experience in the waste and recycling sector, and more than 25 years of experience across large industrial and manufacturing businesses.

He is a passionate recycler and resource recovery advocate and sees organics recycling as the next frontier of waste diversion from landfills in Australia.

Alex has worked in Executive and Director roles across multiple businesses, leading teams of up to 1,000 employees across 40 sites. Alex enjoys growing and developing new facilities in the resource recovery sector, striving for growth across new markets via acquisition and organic growth pathways.  His experience across the wider waste and recycling industry will support SOILCO’s strong growth profile into the future.

Alex holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, and has represented the industry on the board of the Waste Management & Resource Recovery Association of Australia.
