SOILCO Managing Director Charlie Emery has 20 years of experience in the family business and a knack for knowing what an intensive organics operation needs to look like now and in 10 years’ time.
Charlie seeks innovation and constant improvement to maximise outputs of SOILCO products on minimal footprints. This led SOILCO to start a new engineering and construction side of the business, helping local councils close the loop with their organics recycling services.
Charlie joined SOILCO in 2001 and oversees the growth of the business through focusing on its core competency, organics recycling services and production of quality assured soil health products.
Using his Science degree in Environmental Biology, Charlie has worked with a range of environmental, landscaping and horticultural businesses. He is a Board Member of the Australian Organics Recycling Association (AORA).
SOILCO General Manager Kris Musarevski has 25 years of experience in the manufacturing industry and management across functional areas in Engineering, Safety, Quality, Industrial Relations, Operations and Business Management.
His expertise includes motivating and developing teams, implementing WH&S, making quality and environmental improvements, and working closely with stakeholders to create collaborative partnerships.
Kris loves SOILCO’s “family values” and says the people are “absolutely fantastic”. Working within a family business gives greater flexibility in what we do and fosters more opportunities for our team.
