SOILCO’s Safety Management System (SMS) is the primary means of ensuring the safe operation of SOILCO’s activities.
It brings together a number of policies and procedures to ensure it is comprehensive enough to suit the risks and complexity of the company activities, developments and day-to-day operations.
This tool enables us to follow a process that will assist in systematically achieving and maintaining the required level of workplace health and safety.
The SMS also allows us to demonstrate the management of health and safety:
- To others, in particular, contractors or other people undertaking work onsite;
- When seeking certification with an external organisations; and
- When assessing SOILCO against recognised industry standards.
