Vegetation Restoration

Vegetation restoration is the reinstatement of vegetation after earthworks or other infrastructure works occur in areas such as new subdivisions.

This may include establishing grasses to cover the ground and prevent erosion. Other restoration works could include planting back native trees and re-establishing the local plant communities.

Products such as GO Compost Premium and GO Mulch can be used effectively to improve the site soil and prepare for the new plantings. The organic matter contained in these products can help young plants establish quickly and ensure their survival. Microbial communities can start to thrive, kickstarting the repair to the local environmental that has resulted from human activities.
